Terms of Service

By accessing or using DrugScan NG (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and registered account holders. Blue Front Limited reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

DrugScan NG is designed and operated exclusively as a consumer health education and awareness tool. The Platform's AI analyses visible drug packaging features and highlights anomalies for educational purposes only.

DrugScan NG does not:

• • Diagnose any medical condition
• • Prescribe or recommend any medication
• • Make authoritative determinations about drug authenticity or safety
• • Replace professional pharmaceutical or medical advice
• • Serve as a substitute for official NAFDAC verification

All scan results, verdicts, and AI-generated messages are preliminary educational observations that must be independently verified through NAFDAC's official channels and a licensed pharmacist before any medication decision is made.

NAFDAC (the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control) is the sole authority on drug safety and registration in Nigeria.

DrugScan NG is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of NAFDAC. Any reference to NAFDAC registration numbers, Green Book data, or regulatory standards is for educational purposes only. Users must always verify drug registration status through NAFDAC's official channels:

Use of DrugScan NG does not create any professional, medical, pharmaceutical, or advisory relationship between you and Blue Front Limited or DrugScan NG.

No duty of care is established through the use of this Platform. Blue Front Limited is not a healthcare provider, pharmaceutical professional, or regulatory body. No information provided by DrugScan NG — including AI scan results, educational messages, or platform content — constitutes professional advice of any kind.

You acknowledge that you use DrugScan NG entirely at your own discretion and that all medication decisions must be made in consultation with a qualified, licensed pharmacist or healthcare provider.

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Blue Front Limited's total liability to any user for any claim arising from use of DrugScan NG shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by that user in the three (3) months immediately preceding the claim.

Blue Front Limited is not liable for:

• • Any health outcomes, injury, or loss resulting from medication decisions made with or without reference to DrugScan NG results
• • Any indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages
• • Loss of data, profits, or business arising from use or inability to use the Platform
• • Inaccuracies in AI-generated results caused by poor image quality, incomplete packaging information, or counterfeit packaging designed to deceive automated systems
• • Interruptions in service availability

DrugScan NG results are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

By using DrugScan NG, you agree to:

• • Use the Platform only for lawful, educational purposes
• • Not attempt to circumvent scan limits, access controls, or security measures
• • Not use the Platform to make medical decisions without consulting a licensed pharmacist
• • Not submit misleading, fraudulent, or harmful content through the report or feedback systems
• • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or commercially exploit the Platform's AI systems

Paid subscriptions are processed securely through Paystack. All prices displayed include 7.5% VAT as required by Nigerian tax law. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges to your payment method at the stated price.

Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. Refunds are issued at the discretion of Blue Front Limited. No refunds are given for partial months unless required by Nigerian consumer protection law.

Blue Front Limited reserves the right to modify subscription pricing with 30 days' notice to subscribers.

All content, AI models, user interfaces, and platform design of DrugScan NG are the intellectual property of Blue Front Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without prior written consent.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from use of DrugScan NG shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
